Last week I did not get around to posting so this week, I'll just combine the two into one post.  The Toughskins gray shorts were a last resort type find last Tuesday.  I had tried on a couple things myself (I know, I know, I don't need anything) and nothing worked out.  Some didn't fit right and then there was a pair of denim capri pants that fit me perfectly... seriously they fit me like a glove.  The problem? They had some adhesive stuff on the back that felt like a large sticker had been peeled off and didn't take all the adhesive with it.  I didn't want to chance it because I know how some adhesive (especially from stickers/labels) does NOT come out.  I was bummed.  Then I was looking at the rack of shorts (nice quality cargo khaki adjustable waist ones) for a pair of 6, 7, or 8 (the next three sizes for the oldest) to put in our grow into bin.  The smallest they had was one pair of size 10 and that is just too big to buy now.  The same happened with several other items.  In the boys section, sizes 5-8 are really sparse.  They have a TON of the bigger sizes and a decent amount of toddler sizes but I wasn't looking for either of those.  So anyway, while I wasn't thrilled about using up an "any free clothing" credit up for some shorts that were only $7.99 regular price ($5 at the outlet), it was THE only pair I found under size 10.  While they are very plain (two plain pockets on the front and nothing on the back), they feel like they are pretty nice quality so they should hold up well and will definitely go with lots of things.

This week, I again went through several "no's" before deciding that I wanted to get a dress shirt and tie set by Dockers.  They seem to run REALLY small.  In the smaller boys section, they only had 2 of these while having many in the bigger sizes.  Size 6 and size 10.  The size 6 looked more like a 4 (though it was better looking than the one I got) and the size 10 looked more like a 7 or 8 so that is what we went with (so that both boys could use it).  It is Dockers so it is obviously good quality.  The wrinkling is from me leaving it shoved in a bag not from the store.  It is going to be great for Easter and any other dress up occasions that may pop up.   The MSRP is $24.99.  My price was $0!

Remember that Free Apparel Tuesdays continue through the end of the year.  You can get one free apparel item (except leather, Levis, or outerwear) per family per week.  All you have to do is go to a Sears Outlet that sells clothing and show them your Shop Your Way Rewards card (free to sign up if you are not already a member).  That is all.  It is very easy.  Check out their weekly ad here for more info. I also have purchased a cute purple infinity scarf recently for $3 (accessories are $3 right now at my store), normally $4 which is still a great price.

**Update:  I no longer will recommend any Sears owned company.  In fact, I highly encourage you to take your business ANYWHERE else!  For my reasoning, check out this post here.
